'Skyfall': New Bond Girls Wear Designer Dresses

Daniel Craig isn’t the only character to wear designer threads in the slick new Bond film Skyfall, in theaters on Nov. 9.

After securing suits, tuxes and accessories from Tom Ford, costume designer Jany Temime called on Amanda Wakeley and Donna Karan to dress 007′s Bond girls.

In the action flick, Naomie Harris, who plays an MI6 agent named Eve, dons a yellow gown pulled from Wakeley’s autumn/winter 2011-12 runway for a casino scene.

“Since much of the film takes place in London, I think that Jany was interested in working with an iconic London designer,” Wakeley, whose creations are also worn by Dame Judi Dench’s M, told British Vogue. “We could have designed something special for the movie, but when Jany and I looked through the collection together, there were a number of dresses that really seemed to fit the brief.”

As the super-sexy Sévérine, Parisian actress Bérénice Marlohe also got the designer treatment, slipping into a red jersey dress from Donna Karan — accessorized with jewelry from the Stephen Webster Swarovski collection inspired by the Bond franchise.
